Teen Author Talks – Announcement

No blog post today, I’m afraid, but for good reason! I have exciting news to share with everyone about an upcoming series on this blog. It’ll be called, as you have probably guessed from the title, Teen Author Talks and from that you can basically work out everything you need to know.

I’ve found seven brilliant teenaged authors and interviewed them on a variety of subjects such as inspiration, motivation, balancing school and writing, character development and a three book contract with a traditional publisher! Yeah, that got your attention.

They’ve all written thoughtful, honest and enjoyable responses to my questions with the aim of being truly useful to any other young writers out there who might read them. Between them, they’ve provided an enormous number of hints, tips and golden nuggets of advice you can use in your everyday writing.

Every day for a week I’ll be posting another interview with another great author for you to enjoy, but that’s not even the best part. The best part is they’ve all agreed to answer any follow-up questions you might have in the comments to help you get the most out of what they’re sharing. I’ve gotten to know them all in the past few weeks I’ve been working on this and they’re all lovely people so I’d really encourage everyone to make the most of this opportunity to make friends and learn.
